A
Note from John
Wohlstadter, President Augusta HomeBrewers Association
Hear
ye, hear ye,
Last night was great seeing everyone down at PJ's. There was obviously a
lot of different discussions going on but we did settle on one big one.
Mark you calendars, this is tentative right now till we get the final okie
dokie, but it looks like Wednesday 16 Nov 7PM at 1122 Indian Springs Palm,
Grovetown. We will have our first quasi real meeting for all to attend.
Chuck Allen has been running down a place for us to hold the meeting at
which will hopefully become a regular event where
1: We can hear ourselves think,
2: We have a place to provide some educational lectures etc,
3: a place to bring your samples for critique, sharing, trouble shooting,
bragging, whatever.
We will have a lot of discussions and plans being laid out there regarding
future club events. I will post an agenda a little later this week after
we have confirmed the location. I just wanted to get the notice out as
early as possible.
PLEASE, if you can make the time, be there, even if you are brand new to
the club. Everyone's input is needed and will appreciated.
If you cannot make it, don't worry Roy has volunteered to be the club
secretary and between he and I, we'll be able to re-post them here or on
the web site
As soon as we get the confirmation on the availability of the clubhouse,
I'll setup an event and also get it posted to the Metro Spirit and the
Verge as well. Let me know if anyone knows of any other place that'll
allow us a little free advertising. I may try and get some fliers made up
and get them out to some of our favorite drinking holes.
If you have any questions please let me know. We will be covering a lot
that evening but if there is something you want brought up and you are not
going to be able to make it please send me a message. So we can put it out
to the group. Everyone going will be able to present their ideas as well,
it's your time to speak up.
Once we get the mundane administrative stuff out of the way we'll setup a
sampling session for any who bring some along. Hopefully it won't take too
long but I expect to be done by nine.
More to come.....
